More great news! We have officially launched the AI & Productivity User Group Serbia (AIPUG Serbia). 🥳 🎉
Our inaugural meetup took place in the fantastic setting of the Microsoft campus in Belgrade, at the Ušće Tower 2 building.
As a new member of the MS Community Serbia family, AIPUG focuses on Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications to enhance productivity.
We were honored to have Pavle Peković, one of Serbia’s most renowned IT experts, as our very first guest speaker. Given our focus, Pavle was the natural choice. He delivered an insightful session on Windows 11 as an AI platform, Copilot+ PCs, the real-world role of NPUs, and the Foundry Local environment—all supported by impressive live demos.
The presentation was incredibly engaging, sparking a high-quality discussion with an amazing audience.
We were also pleased to have Vladimir Banić, a long-standing authority in the local IT scene, in attendance. A heartfelt thank you to Vladimir for promoting the AIPUG initiative across social media.
Special thanks as well to Srđan Starović from Microsoft, who has supported this initiative from the very beginning. His active participation and valuable insights during the discussion added immense value to the event.
On a personal note, I came down with the flu just days before the event and couldn’t be there in person. However, thanks to Microsoft Teams, I was able to join remotely to introduce AIPUG—sharing our vision for the community and where we are headed—before handing over the floor to Pavle.
Moving forward, AIPUG Serbia will be led by Miloš Batrićević and myself, assisted by Milorad Gligorovski and Milan Čakarević. Our goal is to share the most compelling AI topics and organize sessions that help everyone implement AI in their daily business operations.
I owe a special debt of gratitude to Miloš Batrićević. Despite being our newest community member, he was an outstanding host and ensured the launch went smoothly.
