Our second AIPUG Serbia meetup focused on one thing: understanding how Microsoft 365 Copilot actually works in a real business environment—beyond the hype and the buzzwords.
I’m genuinely glad to see a full room—people who didn’t come for the hype, but because they’re actively thinking about how AI fits into their daily workflows.
Before we started, I officially introduced Miloš Batričević as the co-lead of AIPUG Serbia. We prepared this session together, putting a lot of energy into making it structured, practical, and grounded in real-world scenarios. I truly appreciate the time, effort, and commitment he invested in making this happen.

During the session, we covered Copilot’s architecture (LLM + Microsoft Graph + Apps), grounding, Web vs. Work context, and the specific situations where Copilot delivers real value—as well as the areas where expectations need to be managed.
Interestingly, by the end of the session, the discussion moved beyond the demo into broader topics: energy consumption, the historical context of technological shifts, and how AI is influencing decision-making and workflows.

Special thanks to Vladimir Banić and Kristina Taseva for the photos and thoughtful reflections that captured the atmosphere perfectly.
A special thank you also goes to Jelena Miodragović (Microsoft MVP), who jumped into the discussion several times with excellent clarifications and real-world examples that enriched the session and helped “connect the dots” for the audience.
After the session, we headed to a nearby café to celebrate a successful meetup and continued the conversation in a more informal setting—which is often where the most honest insights surface.

Big thanks as well to Microsoft Serbia for supporting AIPUG Serbia as part of the broader MS Community in Serbia.
See you at the next session!
